TDW’s WHITESKIN and REDSKIN Foam Pigs have long been the

worldwide industry standard for foam pigs. Foam pigs are basically
a cylinder of specially formulated foamthat is flexible, durable and
gets the job done. These designs are simple, but simplicity is
everything selecting a foam pig that will not break apart when
commissioning and cleaning your pipelines. TDW foam pigs have
been delivering superior performance and reliability for over 15
years. Test results have proven that TDW foam pigs do a better
job for a longer time which means more reliable effective pig
runs for you. (See back panel for test results.)

REDSKIN Swab (RS-7) REDSKIN Bristle (RSB-7)

Comes in 2-24-inch sizes. This tough, abrasion resistant
polyurethane foam with honeycomb surface texture is longer
wearing. Honeycomb edges effectively scrape and wipe the
pipeline wall. It provides a lower cost-per-mile benefit with
better wiping performance. An elastomeric coating the back
of the swab provides a leakproof seal.
Thousands of spiral bristles are added to the swab pig, providing
full pipe coverage. Bypass grooves keep solids moving ahead of
the pig and reduce clogging of bristles. This pig provides effective
cleaning and removal of solids, increases throughput and reduces
pumping costs.

Bristles are replaced with a spiral band of 1/8-inch raised urethane

nubs that scrape and clean the pipe wall. This pig was designed
for use in internally coated lines and crude oil lines containing
parraffin.

The WHITESKIN Pig TM

This pig is available in sizes 2-42 inches. It is recommended

for shorter runs for air or water service. Primary purpose is line
drying after hydrostatic stesting. Special diameters are available
in 2, 3, 4 and 6-inch sizes for use in polyethylene (PE) pipe.
Provides for a better fit in the pipe and requires less time to
insert a pig into the pipe.

Bi-Directional Foam Pigs

Both REDSKIN and WHITESKIN pigs are available in a double-

dish design for bi-directional application. Pipeline pressure pushes

out on concave the dish, creating an effective seal regardless of
direction of travel. This provides a more effective seal for purging,
filling and dewatering applications.
