COMPANY HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY IN TIME OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC

1. VACCINATION. All employees are mandatorily required to complete the two


(2) doses of COVID-19 vaccination regardless of vaccine brand. Booster
shots are highly encouraged.

2. USE OF BASIC PPEs. All employees must use standard Personal Protective
Equipment based on existing COVID-19 Alert Level. At the minimum,
facemask should be worn at the workplace.

3. SAFE WORKPLACE. Installation of transparent shields/solid barriers that


separates workers from each other. Barriers should block face-to-face
pathways between individuals in order to prevent direct transmission of
respiratory droplets, and any openings should be placed at the bottom and
made as small as possible. The height and posture (sitting or standing) of
affected workers, directional airflow, and fire safety should be considered
when designing and installing barriers, as should the need for enhanced
ventilation.

4. PHYSICAL DISTANCING. Physical Distancing of at least one meter should


be observed at all times.

5. HYGIENE PRACTICES. All employees should practice good personal


hygiene and washing hands often. Always cover mouth and nose with a
tissue, or the inside of the elbow, when coughing or sneeze, and do not spit.
There shall be monitoring of all employees’ health daily and be alert for
COVID-19 symptoms (e.g., fever, cough, or shortness of breath).

6. MAINTAIN VENTILATION SYSTEMS. On fully airconditioned offices and


spaces, a window pane or two should always be open to reduce the
concentration of viral particles in indoor air and the risk of virus transmission.

7. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION. Utility Workers must ensure cleanliness of


the company premises on a daily basis. Regular disinfection should be
conducted at least twice a week.

8. CONTINGENCY MEASURES IN CASE OF TRANSMISSION. In case of


COVID-19 Transmission in the workplace, the infected employee is instructed
to immediately isolate himself.
Contact tracing mechanism shall be engaged to prevent further transmission.
Close contacts will undergo either RAT or RT-PCR Swab Test on the 5 th day.

All workers with COVID-19 symptoms to be quarantined for 10 days or as


required by health authorities either at home, company designated quarantine
facility, or community facility to prevent or reduce the risk of transmission at
the workplace.
