"All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them." --Walt Disney

Close your eyes for a moment. Pause and reflect. Was there an instance in your
life that almost made you want to quit school? How did you overcome it?

- As a student, I can absolutely relate to having difficulties and going through periods when
I thought about dropping out of school. One example that comes to mind is when I was
having to juggle numerous challenging assignments, tests, and extracurricular activities
because of a hefty workload. I had a great deal of anxiety and stress throughout that time,
and it seemed like there was no end in sight. I began to wonder if it was all worthwhile
and if I could withstand the ongoing academic strain. I felt as though my drive was ebbing
away, and I started to doubt my skills. Rather than giving up, I decided to take a step back
and assess the situation. I recognized that dropping out of school would just lead to
regrets and jeopardize my long-term aspirations. I felt deep down that education was
necessary and that overcoming obstacles was an essential aspect of personal
development. To get through this difficult time, I used a few tactics, such as asking help
from friends, family, and even teachers. In addition, through reevaluating my calendar and
prioritizing chores, I learnt how to manage my time. I also made a study schedule to
ensure that I allotted enough time for each subject and avoided last-minute cramming.

C. CHECK (10 MINS)

What will make you stop going to school?

- Financial difficulties are one big aspect that could lead me to consider dropping out of
school. If I find myself in a situation where I cannot afford the costs of school, such as
tuition, housing, or necessary study supplies, I may have to put my studies on hold. While
looking into financial aid, scholarships, or part-time work would be important, the severity
of the financial strain and the availability of alternatives would have a large influence on
my decision.
What makes you want you to stay in school?
- I am empowered by education to widen my horizons, identify my passions, and lay a
strong basis for a happy future. It gives me the abilities, information, and views I need to
successfully negotiate the difficulties of the outside world. The motivation to continue my
education ultimately comes from realizing the enormous influence education has had on
my life and the limitless options it offers for continued learning and personal
development.
