DIGITIZATION OF MUSEUM COLLECTIONS

After the success of our online training programs in Digitization of Algerian Cultural Heritage and in
manuscript preservation, the US-based Antiquities Coalition returns with a new introductory training
course, "Collection Digitization for Museums."

This training course is sponsored by the US Embassy in Algiers, in cooperation with the Algerian Ministry
of Culture and Arts and the Egyptian Heritage Rescue Foundation, the executive partner of this project.
The course runs from May 9 to May 11, 2023; And it will start at 9 AM.

This three-day training will be held for via Zoom, and conducted by the Mr. Abdelhamid Salah, Chairman
of the Egyptian Heritage Rescue Foundation, who has more than ten years of experience in providing
and designing training courses for museum professionals. It addresses the challenges to heritage
collections in museums, including documentation and digital recording of collections, museum
management, conservation, and storage.
