Candidates, who have applied to this college for admission to F.Y. B.Tech. programs and whose
name appear in the merit lists being published on 18th August 2023 (ILS & Vacancy Round merit
lists: to be called hereafter as “Open & GCLM Vacancy Rounds”), are required to note the schedule
to be followed during the ILS and Vacancy Round – I (counselling round)-(ILS and Open & GCLM
Categories) on the 19th, 21st & 22nd of August 2023.

Vacancy position in various branches is put up on the college website on 17th August 2023.

The internal vacancies arising out of cancellations (due to upward movement), if any, during the
round will also be filled in this round itself.

Please Note: On each of the above days, the vacancy position in all the branches will be put
up on the website at the end of the day. Candidates are requested to note the
same and accordingly plan to report, the next day.
Important: Please ensure that the candidate carries the same mobile (with SIM having CET
Cell registered number) on which he/she will receive the OTP from the State
CET Cell during the admission process.

Candidates are advised to keep all the documents/retention letter ready (originals + two
photocopies) along with the Demand Draft /Pay Order of Rs. 2,21,125/- drawn in favour of
“Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering”, payable at Mumbai, while reporting for
admission.

Please Note:- Candidates, who have already secured admission in either of the CAP rounds
(I/II/III) and have paid the fees of amount Rs. 2,21,125/- and wishes to further change their
branch in this counselling round (subject to availability of vacancy and the application
made) are required to bring the original Fee Receipt (issued in previous round) as well as a
Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (transfer fee) at the time of admission.

Please Note:- Candidates belonging to OBC / EBC / VJ / NT / SBC / SC / ST / AICTE / TFWS


categories, who have already secured admission in either of the CAP Rounds I, II or III and
wishes to further change the branch and seek admission through the vacancy round are
compulsorily required to bring a fresh Demand Draft of the Full Fees of Rs. 2,21,125/- at
the time of admission. You may note that there is no fee concession permissible in the
vacancy rounds for all categories of students, as per the guidelines of CET Cell, Maharashtra.

In such cases, refund against the previously submitted fee will be initiated & the payment
will be made in due course of time.

Please note that the list of relevant documents required for securing admission has already been
put up on the college website.

You are required to report sharp at the college premises as per the reporting time given
above for this counselling round.

Candidates will be called as per the merit number and if at that time, they do not possess the
required documents and the D.D./Pay Order, that particular seat will be offered to the next eligible
candidate on the spot. Candidates are requested to promptly produce the required
documents/retention letter & DD, as applicable at the time of their admission.

Candidates are clearly advised to note that the seat will be allotted to them, only in case a vacant
seat is available as and when their turn comes. If the seats are already filled up, by the time the
turn of the candidate comes in the order of merit, they will have to wait for further vacancies, if
any, in the subsequent rounds.

Please Note: candidates seeking the admission will have to come personally or else, one of the
parents can come and secure the seat on behalf of the candidate, but only after producing an
authority letter issued by the candidate. Please note that only the candidate or the authorised
representative will be allowed to enter the admission room. Others, if any accompanying the
candidate, may occupy seats in the canteen on the ground floor.

Please note that the candidate, who secures admission in this round will necessarily have to pay
Rs. 1,000/- as seat acceptance fees to the State CET Cell on their portal (online), if not already
paid.
