The candidate who wishes to apply / participate in the spot rounds needs to register on the

If seats remain vacant due to betterment or cancellation, additional multiple spot rounds for all
Maharashtra State and All India candidates will be conducted on 25th August 2023 till cutoff date
and time as notified by the CET Cell, Mumbai. Announcement of any subsequent SPOT rounds, if
any will be made at the venue, immediately, if vacancy gets created. In view of this candidates are
advised to remain in and around the venue till cut off time on 25th August 2023. Admission round
stages will be conducted as per the information brochure of GOVERNMENT OF MAHARASHTRA State

 Common Entrance Test Cell for the Academic Year 2023-24, for admissions to full time Professional
Undergraduate Technical Courses.

NOTE:
1. For CIWGC, PIO/OCI/FN, NRI candidates spot round will be conducted on 25th August 2023 at 10.00 AM.
If seats remain vacant due to betterment or cancellation or otherwise, the additional spot rounds
will be conducted at 2.00 pm on 25th August 2023.

For F.Y. B. Tech. Admission activity during Spot Round

Payment of Nonrefundable SPOT ROUND admission Processing fee of Rs.1500/- (Rs. One
thousand five hundred only) for OPEN category as well as AI candidates and Rs.1200/- (Rs. One
2 thousand two hundred only) for RESERVED category candidates in Online mode of payment
through SBI collect and bring the hard copy of transaction receipt at the time of reporting.
Verification of applicable original documents as notified by CET Cell and submission of two sets
3 of photocopies of these documents.
4 Call for seat allotment by counseling as per inter-se merit.

5 Submission of requisition form for seat allotment.

Payment of University / Institute Admission Fee in the form of Online through SBI Collect/
6 Demand Draft in favour of “COEP Technological University Pune” Payable at Pune.
7 Seat allotment based on available vacancy at that moment.
Submission of required original documents along with two sets of photocopies of these
8 documents.
9 Confirmation of the allotted seat to the candidate.

10 Issue of admission confirmation receipt to the candidate.

Instructions:
1. The admissions to the first year of undergraduate courses / programs at COEP Technological
University, Pune for the Academic Year 2023-24 will be conducted by Direct Counseling (Spot) Round
against vacant seats available after CAP-III round of CET CELL for the admission for the Year 2023-24.
2. These admissions will be made strictly in the order of inter-se merit amongst the candidates who
report in person for admission to COEP Technological University, Pune against the seats available in
various courses / programs at that moment.
3. The candidate will lose the claim to participate in the admission counseling process if he/she fails to
produce all the applicable original documents at the time of document verification during the
counseling round. In case a candidate has taken admission elsewhere, he/she will be required to
submit/produce the original fee receipt. The candidate should submit an undertaking stating that
he/she will submit original documents within four working days from the date of reporting.
4. After payment of admission processing fee (as applicable to F.Y. B.Tech. all including CIWGC/
OCI/PIO/FN/NRI Candidates) and successful verification of the relevant original documents, further

 eligible candidates will be called for seat allotment by counseling as per inter-se merit.
5. At the time of seat allotment by counseling, the candidate is required to submit “Requisition for Seat
Allotment.”
6. The seat allotment will be carried out based on the vacancy status at that point. Accordingly, the seat
allotted to a candidate would then be deleted from the pool of vacant seats displayed on the
auditorium screen. Candidates are advised to be present in the Counseling Hall and wait for their
turn as per inter-se merit. If a candidate is found unavailable when called, the next candidate on the
merit rank would be called for allotment of seat and the absent candidate may miss his/her chance
of merit-based seat allotment.
7. Suppose a candidate of higher merit reports late during the process of counseling. In that case, the
candidate may be considered for allotment of a seat available at that point of time for a particular
category to which he/she belongs. Such a candidate shall be given preference for admission over the
candidates with lower rank present at that moment. The decision of the admission center in-charge
shall be final and binding.
8. Confirmation of the allotted seat to the candidate is subject to the payment of the requisite
University / Institute admission fees, all original documents and online submission of anti-ragging
affidavit, immediately. Payment of the requisite University / Institute admission fees is to be made
through SBI Collect (Online/Internet Banking) / Demand Draft in favour of “COEP Technological
University Pune” Payable at Pune. This candidate confirms admission through the acceptance of the
allotted seat at COEP Technological University, Pune.
9. If a candidate fails to pay the requisite University / Institute admission fee Online through SBI Collect
(Online/Internet Banking) / Demand Draft in favour of “COEP Technological University Pune”
Payable at Pune at the time of seat allotment, such candidature will be withdrawn, and the seat will
be allotted to the next candidate on the merit list. Payment through cash / cheque will not be
accepted under any circumstances.
