Synopsis
A 1989 story in Redwood City, California. It involves a teenage girl who is freshly moved from San
Diego, California, where her grandma lived and had just passed away. While unpacking her suitcase,
she discovers her grandma´s diary which she assumed her mom had packed away for her. It was a day
before she was about to go to eleventh grade, so the next day she decided to bring it with her to
school. While in history class she decides to open the diary up and start jotting down her feelings and
thoughts. She dislikes history class a lot and writes down how she wants the class to be over, then the
bell rings. She then continues to write more during her next class, then it happens. She realizes
everything she writes comes true, it is not just a coincidence.
Characters:
-Main character: “Gabriella”; refers to herself as “Giselle”
-Second Character: Leah (The best friend)
-Love interest: Ryan
-Parents: Maria (mom), Richard (dad): separated parents

-phone ringing-
Operator: 911 what’s your emergency
Gabriella: -sniffling- my mom… she she’s bleeding… she’s not responding to me… i don’t know
what to do.. please help me..
-crying-
Operator: Calm down and breathe.. what's your name and where are you right now?
Gabriella: Gabriella.. 155 Cleveland Street, Redwood City, California 92866
Operator: I will send the police to you as soon as possible.
-phone hangs up-
-sirens getting louder as time passes-
-Police officer knocks on the door and waits for the door to open-
-silence but you can hear the wind-
Police officer: Is anyone in there?
-wind continues-
-Police officer: If you don’t open the door now I will!
-no answer-
-Police officer opens the door
(door squeaking)
-steps-
-Police officer examines Gabriella and her mom’s body-
-breathes in and exhales-
-Police officer radios the station-
Police officer- I'm afraid this is a murder, could you call the coroner so they can pick up the bodies
and we can do the final analysis to figure out the truth.
-radio message sends-
