TERM DEFINITION IMAGE

1. Lino Block This is what the design is and carved
on to be printed.

2. Lino Cutter This is what is used to carve the

design on the lino block. It has
replaceable blades.

3. Block Printing The pigmented liquid used to print

Ink design onto surface.

4. Pattern A decorative design to be carved

and printed.

5. Composition The placement of usual elements on

work of art.

6. Lino This can be carved in any length,

width and direction as it is used to
create designs.

7. Brayer This is the tool used to print the

design. It is used to apply ink on the
craved designs.
