Global warming – is it our problem?


The planet earth is our home and it is our responsibility to look after it. When
we burn 1 dead / fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gases, they create carbon

dioxide / monoxide. This gas goes into the atmosphere and warms our planet.
This process is called the greenhouse effect. We can see the results of this all
around us. 5 Acid / Hard rain damages trees and plants, and many islands around
the world are in danger because of rising sea levels. One possible answer is to
try and use 7 alternative / dangerous energy sources like solar, wind or wave
power.
