Dear Professor, in your question you asked what a real teacher is.

I focus on
the question before I focus on the answer, which is just one of the things you have
taught me. because the way to the answer is to assimilate the question. you ask me for
a definition of what a real teacher is. I ask myself what is "real"? The origin of the
word is medieval Latin "belonging to the thing itself". the next question that pops up
in my mind is what belongs to the teacher? when I close my eyes, my teachers in my
own educational life appear first. which ones come to my mind first? which ones have
been the protagonists in my life? Which of them are the ones I never thought I should
have been such a teacher? Which of their words are still in my mind? Which of them
do I see as a blessing from God? I have enough teachers in my mind to answer each of
these questions. Among the qualities that these teachers possessed was the ability to
literally prove Einstein's law of relativity. In their class, Time, space, and motion, are
not independent of each other. On the contrary, they are all interdependent, relative
phenomena. The object is dependent on time, time on the object, space on motion,
motion on space, and so on. When the bell rang, we lost track of time and waited for
the next lesson with a feeling of happiness and fulfillment. In a crowded classroom,
they would notice you and make it clear that they noticed you. Another characteristic
that sticks in my mind is that the whole class would listen attentively. Teachers who
were witty were even more admirable because they were proof that humor was a
product of intelligence, and admiration was inevitable. On the other hand, teachers
who ignored your efforts no matter how hard you tried, who did not notice you, and
who exhibited unfair behaviors in the classroom also took their place in this mind, but
with one difference; "I should not turn into them". on the other hand, these teachers
taught me how important it is for a teacher to be fair, an indispensable characteristic.
The question of what is a real teacher can appear in every mind with different
examples of teachers, but what they have in common is that they can shape their life
around their profession, not their profession as a part of their life, and they can do this
willingly and proudly. And also for this prompt, I have a teacher in my mind who
could achieve this and I think you know very well who he is.
