4 Safety warnings
Safety warnings appear in direct context with the impending danger. Safety warnings have the
same structure as safety instructions but use a different layout. Additional warning signs and signal
words are used.
DANGER
Exceeding bearing capacity of tower floors
Death or severe injury
Never exceed the working load limit of the internal tower floors.
WARNING
Handling substances that are harmful to human health or allergenic (sensitising)
Poisoning, injuries and allergies
Wear suitable protective gloves according to the glove plan, protective clothing and
safety goggles.
Avoid breathing in substances. Work only in well-ventilated rooms or use respirato-

CAUTION
Improper use of ladders and steps
Risk of personal injury
Check the ladder before use.
Make sure it has a secure and firm stand.
Make sure the angle of inclination is correct when setting up.
Only one person at a time may stand on the ladder.
Mind the maximum load bearing capacity.
Keep the ladder rungs free from dirt, grease and other substances that could
cause slipping.
Wear suitable footwear when accessing the ladder.
