The table below shows daily oil production in 4 countries from 2000 to 2004.

The table compares four African countries namely Nigeria, Chad, Congo, and
Somalia in terms of oil produced in a single day between 2000 and 2004.

It is clear that all countries witnessed an upward trend in the amount of oil
manufactured per day over the period, except for Congo. In addition, Nigeria was
the country that produced the most significant amount of oil in 5 years.

At the beginning of the period, Nigeria manufactured 2 million tons of oil, around
8 times higher than the figure for Congo's oil production in that year. While there
was a fluctuation between 1.9 million and 2.3 million tons in Nigeria's production
over the next 4 years, Congo's oil quantities decreased gradually to 200.000
thousand tons in 2004.

Chad and Somalia had insignificant amounts of daily oil produced in the first 3
years. From 2000 to 2002, Somalia's total production was 30 thousand tons,
meanwhile, Chad registered no data during that time. In the next year, Somalia
manufactured 40 thousand tons, approximately two times as much as the figure for
Chad. Furthermore, in 2004, the amount of oil produced in a single day in Chad
and Somalia was 50 thousand and 55 thousand tons, respectively.
