The line graph illustrates the amount of oil that are produced and consumption According the Chinese
population estimated in barrels per day from 1982 to 2006, by four-year intervals.

In general, it was specifically reported that the production and the use of oil increased over the period
with oil consumption at more rapid rate in China, considering over some fluctuations.

Regardless Chinese people oil production, it started in 1982 which at the time, China produced more
than 2 million of oil barrels per day. Following that, the production oil rose steadily to 3 million of barrels
in a day in 1986 before experiencing a flat for the next 8 years. Despite that, oil making trend in China
Increased gradually to around 3.5 million of barrels per day at the end period in 2006.

Looking at China oil consumption, it accounted at sightly below 2 million of barrels per day which was
even under the production and it continued to stay low until 1990. By then, the use of oil in China grew
dramatically to about 3.5 million of oil barrels per day in 1994, surpassing the production at 3 million of
barrels per day just before 1994. By 1998, Chinese oil consumption already doubled the use of oil in the
past 8 years. This figure still had a gradual growth to over 6 million of oil barrels in 2006.
