The line graph depicts the change in the weight of coffee exports in Brazil, Colombia, and Costa Rica by
million of kilograms from 2002 to 2012, in two-year intervals.
Overall, despite some fluctuations, the coffee exports had increased overtime in the three nations.
In a closer observation, Brazil was exporting 12 million kilograms of coffee in 2002 before surpassing costa
Rica in the next year. Continuously, the export gradually increased until 2008 which at the time was at 20
million kilograms with a drop of 2 million kilograms in the next 2 years to follow with a rocket which make
Brazil export most coffee of 25000 tones. Even though Costa Rica had the most coffee export in 2002, at 15
million kilograms, thi8s volume steadily decrease, falling behind Brazil in 2003 and also Colombia in 2005,
until hitting a low of 7000 tones in 2006. From that time, the export in this country letting Colombia takeover
in 2007 at around 9 million kilograms of coffee before reaching a high of 20 million kilograms exported coffee
in the end period.
Looking at further, Colombia coffee export began at the lowest number of 5 million kilograms in 2002. In 4
years, this quantity reached above 10 million kilograms and rose sharply to 15000 ones in the ending year,
2012 after experiencing a drastic dip of around 2 million kilograms in the past 4 years, in 2008.
