from 1990 to 2010.

The bar chart compares four countries, namely Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia and
Vietnam, in terms of the amount of coffee produced during the period of 20 years.
It is clear that all four nations saw upward trends in coffee production with the exception
of Colombia over the period shown. It is also noticeable that Brazil was the leading
country in coffee production and its figure experienced significant growth.
In 1990, the amount of coffee produced in Brazil was around 0,7 million tonnes, which
was higher than the figure for Colombia, accounting for 0,6 million tonnes. During the
following 20 years, the figure for Brazil experienced a constant increase, reaching 1,9
million tonnes at the end of the period and becoming the leading nation in coffee
production. In contrast, there was a dramatic reduction in the amount of coffee produced
in Colombia, approximately 0,3 million in 2010.
Turning to the remaining countries, starting at 0,2 million tonnes, the amount of
Indonesia’s coffee production rose by 0,2 million tonnes at the end of the period.
