Task 1

The bar chart illustrates the amount of coffee produced in different countries such as
Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia and Vietnam from 1990 to 2010.

Overall, Brazil produced the largest amount of coffee, while that of Vietnam was the
least producer. Moreover, Colombia was the only country that experienced a decrease
in production.

Regarding the production of coffee, we see that the figure for Brazil experienced a
significant rise from approximately 0.7 million to over 1.8 million in 2010,which was
about six times higher than the next largest producer. In contrast, the numbers for
Colombia declined by almost half, from 0.6 million to about 0.3 million in 2010.

Turning to the amount of coffee produced by Indonesia and Vietnam, it is clear that
they experienced the same trend and remained stable in 1990 and 1995, at 0.2 and
about 0.1 million respectively. After that, both figures rose slowly before reaching 0.4
and approximately 0.3 million in 2010.

Task 2

Nowadays, more and more people prefer to study abroad. I agree that there remain a
few minor disadvantages; however, the benefits are more significant.

When the positive aspects of studying overseas are taken into consideration, we can
see that developed countries have a better qualification of education. For instance,
many people assume that students can acquire more knowledge and improve their
skills if they study in famous schools with qualified teachers. As a result, these
schools will attract many students from different countries. Moreover, a degree or
certification from well-known schools are more valuable because students who come
from these schools are considered to have a high level of education. With a good
degree, people can increase their chance of employability which helps them to get a
job easily.

However, there still remain several arguments in favor of the hardship of studying
overseas. First, it causes brain drain in many countries as more and more skilled
people leave their country to study and look for jobs in another one. Consequently,
their country loses many experts and it causes a huge influence in the country’s
development. In addition, during their time studying and getting used to a new
country, people can easily be culturally assimilated. As a result, they can lose their
family tradition, identity and culture from trying so hard to adapt to a new country.

In conclusion, although studying overseas may cause some problems, I believe that it
is more beneficial for people to improve their skills and widen their knowledge.

The chart displays the amount of coffee produced in Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia and
Vietnam between 1990 and 2010.

Overall, Brazil produced the most coffee in the period while Colombia is the only
country that experienced decreases in coffee production.

the next 10 years, this figure doubled to more than 1,4 million tonnes and in 2010, it
witnessed an increase to approximately 1.9 million tonnes. Followed by the opposite
figure of Colombia, in 1995, it experienced a decrease to 0.5 million tonnes which
was twice time less than Brazil at that time and continue to decline to 0.3 million
tonnes which was the lowest in 2010.

Besides, Indonesia started at 0,2 million tonnes in 1990, which subsequently increased
over the next 5 years, and doubled to 0,4 million tonnes and reached the second at the
end of the period . Vietnam had a similar pattern during the same period, which
remained the same amount of production in the first 5 years before climbing to 0,3
million tonnes.

Task 2:

There are many obvious reasons why people tend to study overseas. Besides, studying
abroad also leaves many consequences.

There are several reasons why people want to learn in other nations. First, education
from their home countries is poor so they choose nations that they have a better
quality of education for students who want to broaden their horizons. Besides, other
countries also have effective teaching methods and many well-known schools.
Therefore, it provides a huge source of knowledge and attracts many foreign students.
Additionally, degrees and certifications in other nations are more valuable, as a result,
it provides a higher chance of employability with a high salary. Studying abroad also
helps rally talented and dedicated students to study in a better environment and figure
out the true potential possibilities.

However, this causes a substantial in brain drain that could occur in home countries
that have a high rate of studying abroad. Their home country is going to lose many
prodigies and experts since overseas students tend to stay in the country where they
are studying to work after their graduation rather than going back to their nation. As a
result, this will cause a huge damage to the development of economic and academic of
their home country, though small but noticeable. Moreover, overseas students are
affected by cultures and customs of the country that they are studying and when they
go back to their nation, they cause an assimilation.

Although studying overseas is a great idea but is also causing some serious results like
we just discussed.

Nowadays, studying abroad is the choice of many students because the benefits it
brings are very good for our life. Although there are many advantages but it still have
some negative affect of learning overseas.

Studying foreign can bring many benefits and has better performance for people who
prefer learning abroad. First, foreign countries always have a better education
qualification and also have many famous teachers with high qualifications in their
own field. In addition, foreign schools will also have better quality and long
established education. Therefore, foreign schools will attract many students. Besides,
studying overseas can help you get valuable certificates of degrees from prestigious
universities, and based on that people can ensure that they have a higher chance of
employment with a high salary and having a stable life. Moreover, overseas students
can learn foreign languages to cope with the new culture the involved in, so they can
exposed to different cultures and customs and gain knowledge about them.

On the other hand, there are some negative effects of studying abroad. First, when
many people studying in foreign countries it will affect to their national, it will brain
train or the migration of educated people. Therefore, their countries can lost many
future prodigies or experts so it will seriously damage to the development of their own
country. Moreover, people who studying abroad can be affected by the cultures and
customs of the country they choose. So they can easily be assimilated to the culture of
another country.

In conclusion, although studying abroad has many benefits, it also has some
drawbacks.

In the present age, there are particular people who choose to study abroad. This trend

that is the ideal condition for them to develop themself for all lifestyles and

Task2 :

Nowadays, studying abroad is increasingly popular in many countries with lots of

people choosing it. While some negative consequences are apparent, I believe there
are particular reasons for this problem.

Nowadays, students tend to study abroad, especially in developing countries such as

America, France or England. Those countries attract them by being famous for the age
of education and the quality of their teachers. As a result, students will have more
opportunities for better qualification of education which helps to boost their career
development. Moreover, because of the advanced development of foreign countries,
their degrees are more qualified such as the degree of Harvard University which is
considered as one of the prestigious university degrees with global quality. Therefore,
students will have high chances for employability worldwide as global companies
prefer internationally experienced employees.

On the other hand, studying abroad also contains many potential negative impacts.
Firstly, it will negatively affect the countries where students’ origins. Those countries
will lose human capital, especially talented people who play a vital role in the
development of countries. Moreover, the emigration of highly skilled workers to other
countries, which is often called brain drain, will seriously affect the social economy of
their countries. On the other hand, students also can be affected by foreign countries
such as in culture, and personalities. For instance, students will have a tendency to be
exposed to and assimilated by Western cultures, which makes them tend to lose and
reflect on their countries’ cultures, customs and people.

In conclusion, studying overseas will give you some best opportunities for your future
career development. However, there are still numerous negative and limited aspects
that make it become challenging.

Task 2:

It is often seen that people prefer studying overseas to studying in their home country.
Although there are multiple reasons as to why this is the case, there are also particular
problems that have arisen as a result.

One of the major reasons for this is because of better educational qualifications of
education or more suitable education systems overall, which can help a students’
studying capabilities tremendously so there is no surprise that this in turn will lead to a
higher rate of abroad studying Moreover, due to money being one of the main reasons
for people to study abroad, certain countries that provide students with more valuable
certificates and degrees which can help raise the employability and a chance of a
higher pay will be the most popular places to study abroad.

As a result, the original nations of those students will miss out on talents, prodigies, or
maybe even future leaders, leading to a phenomenon called “brain drain” which is
where there is an immigration of educated people from one place to another, this will
then stun the overall growth of a country. Furthermore, the cultures, customs or even
the national identity of a country may disappear because when their future generations
decide to study abroad, they will be assimilated into foreign cultures, especially to
those who stay there for a long period of time without coming back to their
hometown.

In conclusion, there are many valid reasons for the increased rate of studying abroad,
but let’s not forget that drawbacks have arisen from this.

Task 2 :
Nowadays, many people choose to study overseas because of the advantages it
brings. Although I agree that studying abroad helps a country to develop, I strongly
believe that people can have many troubles when studying overseas.

Firstly, studying abroad helps us to approach the better quality of education in other
countries. When a student gets a scholarship, they can have a high chance to get into
famous schools like Havard or Cambridge and so on, interacting with high-quality
teachers and students can take pride in themselves because they are taught by highly
experienced teachers. Also, in some developing countries, they do not miss geniuses
or Gray matter so they can ensure high chances to have comfortable jobs and high
salary, be approached with modern technologies and develop themselves.

Despite this argument, there is an equally strong case to be made that the negative
effects of studying abroad. In some countries where overseas students study, they can
be stuck in that country by modern technologies and ambitious promises like working
in big companies, making them not want to return to their home country so their home
country can lose intelligent people. Another problem is that abroad students can be in
trouble when they can be racist at school. Nowadays, racism statuses are still very
common in some schools in America and an overseas student can be a victim of it. For
example, an Asian or African student can be called by strange names, it can affect
their mentality a lot and during their study process.

In conclusion, studying abroad still brings a huge development for their home country
but still exists hidden dangers for an overseas student.

Task 2:

Nowadays, the problem of choosing to study abroad is common in today’s society to

guide the future. I believe there are particular causes for this issue, however, measures
can be taken to mitigate this.

There are two main reasons why people tend to choose to study overseas. First,
foreign countries have better levels of qualification education systems than in the
country. Because it all famous for the long-standing scientific and creative education
system with famous schools in the world and experienced teachers. From there, those
conditions are enough for others to assume that education in foreign environment is
better and attracts students. Second, after the training process, they can have satisfied
qualifications to help them have the ability to take higher chance jobs with a certain
high salary suitable for the qualifications they achieve.

However, there are still some negative consequences. Because studying in a non-
water environment, it can gradually reach certain effects . The result of it can
negatively affect the country and lead to brain drain. Otherwise, countries can be
seriously affected when they lose experts. The assimilation of costumes or customs
cause national disadvantages. Therefore, it affects the cultural assimilation of cultural
customs when they return to their homeland.

0,6 millions, however, they faced a gradual decrease in amount then having an end at

Task 2:

Going abroad for studying is now a popular trend in society. There are a myriad of
reasons for people to have this option, however, let’s not forget that there are some
undoubtedly negative effects on this trend.

There are several reasons why people decide to study overseas. First and foremost, the
educational system in those countries are mostly old and well-qualified. For instance,
their school, teachers and infrastructure, such as technology gadgets, sporting areas…
are much greater than their home country. Therefore, overseas schools have attracted
abroad students for ages. Moreover, the degree given for the graduates is much more
valuable, and it will surely result in their a higher chance of employability,
accompanied by a higher salary if being employed.

However, the higher and higher number of abroad students are causing great problems
for their home country. The first major issue is the brain drain, a serious issue causing
a losing and lacking in experts in different fields. Consequently, heavy effects will
undoubtedly impact the country’s development. Moreover, most of the abroad pupils
or colleagues may be affected by that country’s customs and culture. Therefore, they
may assimilate to that country’s culture and can accidentally spread those unsuitable
customs when going back to their home nation.

In conclusion, I believe that there are suitable reasons for the current trends of
studying abroad, however, they are surely causing considerable problems for their
nation in keeping a positive development. Therefore, solutions should be apply as

Task 2

It is true that studying abroad is beneficial nowadays. There could be several reasons
why this is the case, and I believe that the government should promote students to go
abroad more in the future.

There are various reasons why many people prefer studying overseas to staying in
their countries. They want to find a better qualification for education in another
country. They want to learn in famous schools with great reputations, so they have
more opportunities to apply for a variety of jobs in the future. Take multi companies
as an example, they always look for people who have good profiles and certifications
to meet their requirements.

YOU SHOULD MENTION AT LEAST 2 IDEAS

Another point to consider is that their homelands may have a brain drain. They lose
experts, and geniuses who always represent their countries to attend international
competitions with other countries. Consequently, it can seriously affect the
development of that country because they lose talenters, who contribute to their
country, so when they go to another country to study abroad, their homelands have
difficulty finding experts. Furthermore, when overseas students live in another country
for a long time, there can be a phenomenon which is called cultural assimilation. This
is complicated because the immigrants are similar to indigenous people, not only do
indigenous people lose their own culture, but also they may lose all of their customs
and heritages.

In conclusion, I believe that studying abroad could help them gain more knowledge,
and be open-minded but they should also not lose their fine customs.

Task 2

Recently, It is often observed that study abroad is chosen by many students. This issue
will describe the main reason and the possible effect of this problem.

There are several reasons why many students choose to study overseas. Firstly,
students are fascinated by the quality of the schools abroad. Moreover, a long-standing
education combined with the excellent quality of teachers and facilities is the best
option for many students around the world to apply. Additionally, learning in
prestigious schools can improve our vision and give us better opportunities. Second, If
you have a degree certificate, it is a higher chance of employment. For instance, If we
have a degree certificate from a prestigious school then the company will have a better
impression of us and put us in a better position.

The result of studying abroad is that there is an enormous amount of students going
abroad, and our country will suffer harmful consequences of brain drain. This issue
can lead to a shortage of experts for the country who will be a key in the development
of the country’s economy. Furthermore, this will be a huge disadvantage for their
culture country, because of passing abroad, they will be influenced by foreigner
culture. When they return back to Vietnam, it will be difficult for them to get used to
Vietnamese customs due to cultural assimilation of foreign.

In conclusion, studying abroad will be the best option which will improve our
knowledge and be helpful for our future careers. But it will have an impact to our
country
