The line graph illustrates fruit production in 4 countries: France, Spain,
Germany, and Turkey between 1970 and 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the amount of fruit produced in Turkey increased during the period, while the number of fruit offered in Germany decreased. Besides, the figures for Spain were the highest most of the time. Starting with nearly 2 million tonnes in 1970 Turkey at the beginning of the period, this figure then increased to 2,5 million tonnes after 10 years, followed by a surge of in 2000 before rising again to 3,5 million tonnes at the end of the period. An opposite pattern can be seen in the statistics of Turkey and Germany where Turkey observed a soar from 2 million to a peak of approximately 3.5 million in the final year. In 1990, fruit production in Germany at 1,5 million tonnes, then remained stable for 10 years before dropping to 1,25 million tonnes in 2010. Regarding the two remaining countries, starting with just over 1 million tonnes of fruit produced in France at the beginning of the period, this figure grow to over 2 million after 20 years, followed by a drop to over 1.5 million in 2000 before rising again to around 2.3 million at the end of the period. In Spain, within the first 10 years, there was a increase from 5.7 million tonnes to more 6 million, before a mild fall at 5.1million at the end of period
