The graph shows the amount of fruit produced in four countries (France, Spain,

Germany, Turkey) from 1970 to 2010.

The line graph shows how many millions of tonnes of fruit produced in France, Spain, Germany and
Turkey in the period from 1970 to 2010.

It can be seen clearly that while the quantity of fruit produced in Germany and Spain witnessed a
downward trend, there was an increase of the figure for Turkey and France. Furthermore, the fruit
produced in Spain was the largest among all of fruit in 4 countries mentioned during that period.

In 1970, the number of fruits grown in Spain experienced a slight growth from around 5.5 million of
tonnes to a peak at just over 6 millions of tonnes in 1980. Then, it was a steady decline in Spain fruits in
the rest of period, from 1980 to 2010, with its figure dropped to approximately 5 million of tonnes.
Similarly, the amount of fruit in Germany also reduced from nearly 2.5 million of tonnes in 1980 to above
1 million of tonnes in 2010.

On the other hand, the quantity of fruits grown in Turkey soared from 2 millions of tonnes in the
beginning to around 3.5 millions of tonnes at the end of the period 1970-2010. In terms of France fruits,
