The bar graph represents the data of three major international trades
of southland in billions of pounds from year 2000, the current year
and predicted exports till 2025. It is quite evident that, the projected
exports are higher in international tourism whereas they are declined
in dairy and meat products.
It is clearly observed from the graph that, the international tourism
has surged significantly from the beginning of the decade where the
amount of exports was just above 8 billion pounds which is now rose
to just below 9 billion pounds and will has a increment in projected
exports of a billion pounds to reach around 10 billion pounds in year
2025.
On the other hand, the exports of dairy products had accounted a
jump from 2000 to the current year from just below 7 billion pounds
to nearly a million pounds. However, the projected trades reported a
slight decline of a half billion pound. Meanwhile, the exports of meat
products had recorded a continues loss of nearly half billion pounds
in trades every survey which was 6 billion pounds in the 2000 fallen
down to 5.5 billion pound now and predicted to drop 5 billion ponds
in 2025.
The bar graph represents the major exports of southland in 2000,
*20, and future prediction for 2025. It is quite evident that,
compared to all sectors, tourism contributed the most to the revenue
gained in southland and that is expected to rise in future.
It can be clearly seen from the bar graph that international tourism
generated revenue worth 8 billion pounds in 2000. This figure is
positioned at just under 9 billion pounds at present. But it is
anticipated to rise around 10 billion pounds in 2025. The income
generated by exporting dairy products in 2000 accounted for 7 billion
pounds which stands just under 10 billion pounds in the current year.
However, it is projected that a slight drop will be see in the sales of
dairy products in 2025 and the number will be around 9 billion
pounds. In 2000, meat products worth the value of 6 billion were
sold overseas. In contrast, the existing figure is around 5 billion
pounds in the present year. But a significant decline is witnessed in
the export of meat products in 2025 at 5 billion pounds.
