Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

Hello and good morning to the honourable judges,

beloved teachers and friends. My name is Wazeera. I’m from SK Wan Ibrahim and
I’m 12 years old. Today, I would like to tell a story entitled..

Little Red Riding Hood

Once upon a time, there was a dear little girl who lived in a small village near the
woods with her mother. When she went out, she was always wore a red hood given
by her grandmother. So she was called Little Red Riding Hood.

One day, Little Red Riding Hood asked her mother if she could visit her grandmother.
“Mommy, mommy, I want to got to grandmother’s house. Can I mom?” said Little
Red Riding Hood.
“Actually, I worry about you my girl, you may go my dear but remember, go straight
to grandma’s house. Don’t dawdle along the way and don’t talk to stranger. The
forest is dangerous. Oh yes, give this fresh bread to your grandma” said her mother.
“Alright mommy, don’t worry. I’ll be careful, I promise. I go now mommy. Bye.” said
that little girl joyfully.

And just Little Red Riding Hood entered the woods to the grandmother’s cottage, she
forgot about her promises. She listened to the frog croaking and played with
butterflies.
“If you happy and you know it, clap your hands. If you happy and you know it, clap
your hands. Oh wow, such a lovely butterflies. Wait, don’t fly away, wait”. There she
goes chasing after butterflies and singing all the way.

Suddenly, a wolf appeared before her.

"Good-day, little girl," said he.
“Oh no, arghh!”Little Red Riding Hood was scared.
"Don’t worry little girl. I’m a good fluffy wolf. Whither away so early, my dear?”
"Yeah, to my grandmother’s house in front there"
"What have you got in your basket?"
"Oh, just some fresh bread to my grandma" replied Little Red Riding Hood telling all
the details to the stranger she just met.

The wolf thought to himself, "Hmm..What a tender young creature. She will be
better to eat than the old woman. I must act craftily, yumm.." So he walked by the
side of Little Red Riding Hood, and then he said, "see little girl, how pretty the
flowers are right there. Why don’t you look around and pick some for your dear
grandma. She will surely love it”, proposed that wicked wolf. Little Red Riding Hood
raised her eyes, and when she saw the pretty flowers growing everywhere, she
thought, “Hmm..why not, thanks Mr. Wolf”and so she skipping away from the path
into the woods to look for flowers.
Meanwhile the wolf ran straight to the grandmother's house and knocked on the
door.
"Who is there?"
"Its me grandma, Little Red Riding Hood," replied the wolf disguised as Little Red
Riding Hood.
"Oh my dear, come in, I’m worried that something might happen to you in the
forest. Please come in my dear”. And then, the wolf entered the house and hid
grandma in the cupboard. Then he put on her clothes, dressed himself in her cap,
laid himself in bed and drew the curtains down.

A moment later, Little Red Riding Hood reached the cottage and knocked on the
door.
“Who’s there?” said the wolf disguised as grandmother.
“I’m Little Red Riding Hood, grandma”
“Oh my dear, come in. I miss you”
“Hello grandma, I miss you too”. Then she went near her grandmother.
"Oh, grandma, what big ears you have."
"Emm..to hear you better, my dear”
"But, grandma, what big eyes you have," she said.
"To see you better, my dear."
"But, grandma, what large hands you have."
"The better to hug you with."
"Oh, but, grandma, what a terrible big teeth you have."
"The better.. to eat you with!", and scarcely the wolf said this. Just then, Little Red
Riding Hood realized that was not her grandmother but a hungry wolf.
“Aaahhh.. wolf, wolf. Please, help! Help me!” shouted Little Red Riding Hood while
running out of the house with all her might. Luckily a nearby woodsman heard her
and came towards her.
“What happen little girl?”asked him, worriedly.
“Oh woodsman, please help me, a wolf wants to eat me. I’m so scared”, cried that
girl. Then, the woodsman grabbed his axe and killed the wolf. The grandmother and
Little Red Riding Hood were safe. They all three were delighted. Little Red Riding
Hood thought to herself,
“Today, I’ve learned a very important lesson”.

How about you all here? Do you learn something from this story? Yes, we must listen
and follow our parents’ advice for our own safety no matter where we are and most
importantly my dear friends, DO NOT TALK TO STRANGERS. That is all from me,
thank you.
