wood/lumber. Need may be in the form building materials, firewood, furniture, fences, etc. Make
a table of data that contains the name of the head of the household together with their wood need
and the volume of wood they need.

1.What forest management? What is the important of forest management, and its purpose?
- Forest management is a branch of forestry concerned with overall administrative, legal,
economic, and social aspect, as well as scientific and technical aspect, such as silviculture,
protection, and forest product.
- The importance of forest management is to maintain and enhance the economic, social
and environmental values of all types of forest, for the benefits of present and future
generation.’’ Forest and trees, when sustainable managed, make vital contributions both to
people and to the plant, bolstering and responding to climate change.
- To reserve the loss of forest cover worldwide through sustainable forest management,
including protection, restoration, afforestation and reforestation, and increase efforts to prevent
forest degradation and contribution to the global effort of addressing climate change.
2.What is a forest management plant? What are the components of the forest management plan?
- A forest management plant defines the planned forestry activities inventory, yield
calculation, harvesting, silviculture, protection, and monitoring, specifying objectives, actions
and control arrangements in a forest area. A forest management forest plant is also an important
too for ensuring the participation of, and communicating forest objectives and strategies to,
people living in or near the forest and other stakeholders in the implementation of SFM.
- Forest consist not only of living ( Biotic ) components like trees, animals, plants, and other
living thing but also of nonliving ( abiotic ) components such as soil, Water, air, and land forms.
All of those components together make up a forest ecosystem.

* Paper
- it is a important and versatile materials with many uses, including printing, painting,
graphics, signage, design, packaging, decorating, writing, and cleaning.
* Timber
- it is used in construction work, such as timber framed buildings, fencing and floorboards,
in furniture or made into pallets.
*Fuelwood
- fuelwood consumed in developing nations is used for heating and cooking by individual
households, although considerable volumes of fuelwood and charcoal are used for industrial
purposes.
*Medicine
- Medicine from forest considered a healthy and safety medicine.
*Fodder
- it is used to feed domesticated livestock such as cattle, rabbits, sheep, horses, chicken
and pigs.
