WHAT DETERMINES SUCCESS IN THE KINGDOM LIFE

Kingdom of God, also called Kingdom of Heaven, in Christianity, is the spiritual realm
over which God reigns as king, or the fulfillment on Earth of God’s will. The phrase occurs
frequently in the New Testament, primarily used by Jesus Christ in the first three Gospels. It is
generally considered to be the central theme of Jesus’ teaching.

The central objective of every Christian is to continue to be a part of this kingdom till
eternity. To achieve this, a Christian need to succeed in his Christian life. So now let’s look at
some of the things that need to be done to succeed!

1. The Word. The first step to succeeding in the kingdom after accepting Christ as your lord
and personal savior is to know the Word of God and keep it in your heart.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John
1:1.
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:11
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105
Many ways of knowing the word of
2. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. You cannot live
Christian life vigorously and triumphantly without involving the Holy Spirit. There is no success
outside Him. The Holy Spirit is the CEO of every born-again. You need to let Him direct and
manage your life by cooperating with Him if you want to go to your next level. How can you fail
when the holy spirit is the CEO of your life?
3. Sanctity – avoiding sin. Probably the most difficult requirement to succeed in the kingdom
of life. Sanctity is the sum of all the “Dos” and “Don’ts” of a Christian.
4. Prayer – not everyone outside or even inside the Kingdom wants you to succeed and the
most effective way of dealing with this is through prayer. For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this
world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12. We can’t fight spiritual
battles with physical strength. We can only do it through prayer. Have you ever asked yourself why
Muslims pray 5 times a day? Through prayer we are also able to have personal relationship with
God thereby guaranteeing our success in the kingdom.
