“lighthearted” is an alternative band based in Athens, Georgia made up of
members Gracie Huffman (Piano, Vocals), Eliza Lemmon (Guitar, Vocals), Win
Cawthorne (Electric Guitar), Toni Hunlo (Drums), and Aidan Hill (Bass). Twin
sisters Eliza and Gracie have been playing music together since they can
remember, but the band officially formed in 2019. Since then, they have played
a variety of shows and released a 5 song EP in May of 2020. Most recently, they
released “ghost” and “wild woods,” which are singles off of their upcoming
debut album. THIS evening’s performance is a special experience of Gracie
and the band’s writing with acoustic and simple accompaniment.

Clover County is the music of AG, who mixes themes of modern love with
playful chord structures to define a new but familiar sound that is all her own.
Currently based in Athens, Georgia where she is a senior at the University of
Georgia. Her well-crafted, witty lyrics and soft vocal style are complimented
by her white Gretsch electric (which she calls her Cadillac). Often backed by
pedal steel, Clover County’s sound is both charming and equally
heartbreaking in all the best ways: She smoothly delivers longing lines with
devastatingly beautiful eloquence, and can just as effortlessly move to a more
upbeat tempo while maintaining her trademark intimate feel.

Charleston-based band Daddy’s Beemer (comprising lead vocalist/guitarist

Brady Sklar, multi-instrumentalist Dan Fetterolf, bassist Wesley Heaton, and
newest addition, drummer Payton Kutyla) formed in 2016 at Clemson
University, where they soon established their brand of dreamy, buoyant indie
rock. Influences from across the pond like Two Door Cinema Club, The Kooks
and The Cure mingled with the likes of REM and even Frank Ocean to form a
left-field melting pot across their first EPs, Daddy’s Beemer (2017) and Pucker
(2018). Meanwhile, they forged their identity on the road, playing over 200
shows since their inception and heading as far afield as New York and SXSW,
all while building a rock-solid base in their home state of South Carolina.

Started in the summer of 2022, Sunhouse consists of Sawyer Rice (vocals, lead
guitar), Evan Tate (bass), Charlotte Rice (vocals, rhythm guitar), and Brandon
Sewell (drums). Blending their different influences from indie rock, 80’s pop
rock, folk, grunge and many more, Sunhouse’s songs are familiar but fresh
with lyrics that analyse and comment on the modern youth culture wound
into catchy chord progressions and sweeping melodies.
