swith button Auto-function (A function) «+ Automat uncon the deta operating uncon ofthe conta sytem, ‘# Under the automatic function, the driver only needs to choose the starting gear through the shift handle. Start gear includes forward gear, reverse gear oF neutral gear. The transmission control system will automatically select the most appropriate gear ‘according to the current vehicle condition. The dtiver ean also interfore with the shift through the handle under the automatic function Manual-function (M function) + Gear shiing time of manual function is sent by the driver. The gear position number of gear shifts can be determined by t ver or by AMT systom. The operation method isthe same as the manual intervention ofthe automatic mode. A/M mode selection {The driver can realize switching between manual and automatic by button‘ on the handle. 7 on instrument panel displays the current working mode of transmission at realtime, 4 The display sor ‘The detautt operation mode of system is automatic mode. The diver can finish switching of A/M pattern during starting and running. pis See Rem ae Vehicle starting 4 Select the appropriate starting gear postion (The control system only allows to star from gear 1- gear 1-4) 4 Slight step on the accelerator pedal and the vehicle wil start Itis recommended to start at 4 lolease parking brake, = When its required to star under medium-idle mode, please keep at current neutral gear and then swch to stating gear, ‘slop on the pedal, release the parking brake and start running. During this mode,the vehicle can only un at 1-4 gears under this modo, If mode G is not required, please press C button to exit = When you need to startin high dle mode, Keep the current gear position at neutral gear, and then press C button for mat than 8s . Then engage the stating gear, step on the aaceleratar pedal to the end, and then start running. Ate the vehicle tarts normaly, the high ale made is automatic, no need to press the C button again. Creeping mode 4 The AMT system provides a cr certain conditions 3p mode that allows the vehicle to slow down in +4 The driver switches to M mode by double-clicking the M/A button on the handle, {and then presses on the brake pedal to hang the starting gear. After successfully hhanging the gear, release the brake pedal and the vehicle moves siowly; In the creep process, the gear can be lifted manually (up to 5 gears);You can step on the accelerator pedal to accelerate during creep. Release the accelerator pedal to continue creep mode; You can also step on the brake pedal to siow down or stop, release the brake peda to continue the creep mode, "The creep mode supports 1-5 gear and A gear. The driver can choose gear by himself according tothe working candlton ‘Stopping on the accelerator pedal and switching gears wil not exit the creep mode, Simply manually switching to A mode can ‘xt creep mode. Automatic mode operation during driving Up-shift and down-shift 4 In the process of driving, the accelerator pedal @ fects the engine speed, torque and the speed of the whole vehicle. AMT. will automaticaly based on the curent engine speed and other information, When step on the accelerator pedal the vehicle will slow down, and the control system will select the most proper gear forthe vehicle running, Dis& siTRAK Acceleration 4 To maximize vehicle acceleration, follow the folowing steps: Switoh to mode P: Step the accelerator pedal @); The control system will maintain the current gear postion or select a lower gear positon to operate; ‘The vehicle will obtain enough power and the speed wil increase rapidly Decelerate 4 Step on the brake pode ‘or release the accelerator pedal, and the vehicle wil stow down, Manual gear shifting under automatic mode + When the vehicle i running under automatic mode, the driver can intervene in ‘automatic mode by handle operation. Push the handle forward to shift up and push the handle downward to shit down. ‘Only if the running condition ofthe vehicle meets the gear shiting requirements, the handle operation in automatic med can roalize the gear shiting.In automatic u ‘mode, the handle action can atfect the operation in automatic mode, but it will ‘ot release the automatic mode and switch the transmission operation mode to ‘manual mode. 2 Manual mode operation during driving 4 Any gear shiting action in manual mode is operated by the diver, but the clutch is automatically controled by the systom, + Gear shiting cannot be realized uniess the vehicle running condition meets the demand of gear shiting, If the current engine speed cannot reach the speed required by target gear, the control system wil switch to a suitable gear but not the target gear necessary according to current speed: if the control system does not allow to shift gears at current operating environment, a \waming sound will be sent out to indicate thatthe gear shiing request of crver is refused. Up-shift operation ‘1 there is no special situation when in gear shitting, do not change the current ‘accelerator pedal postion. a + When the diver pushes the handle forward, the request of up-shiting at least fone gear wil be sent out ifthe function button @) (round button F at lt side of handle) is not pressed; the request of up-shiting one gear wil be sent out if the function button is pressed. I indicates that gear shiting succeeds if the target gear lamp on display screen stops ashing, + Only when the vehicle's operating environment meets the shift requirements can the shit be realized. fhe current operating environment does not allow te shi, the Vehicle wil send out a waming sound to remind thatthe gear cannot be shifted up. Engage from the neutral gear to a proper gear position + When the vehicle is sliding and the transmission isin @ neutral gear postion, the transmission may be diectly engaged in a proper gear postion through the Gear shiting handle 41! pushing the handle forward, AMT wil switch tothe higher gear position that is allowed under the current vehicle operating conditions. When the instrument display screen shows the target gear position and stops flickering, the gear shiting is ‘completed 4 It pushing the handle downward, AMT wil switch tothe lower gear postion thats allowed under the current vehicle operating Conditions. When the instrument display screen shows the target gear position and stops flickering, the gear shiting is ‘completed Deceleration and Stop ‘¢ When its necessary to decelerate and stop, step on the brake pedal @ . The conitol system automaticaly shits down when the brake pedal is released. After the vehicle is stopped stably, apply the parking brake, 4 Aftor the vehicle stops, the vehicle is stil the gear position, and will automatically rotur to neutral gear without any other action within 30s, Ss 4 It itis required to park for along time, please switch the transmission to neutral position to protect the clutch. Press the nautral-gear button @ (round button F at left side of handle), and it indicates the vehicle returns {o neutral position ifthe display screen shows neuiral-gear symbol N. ‘h to neutral-gear& siTRAK Switch to reverse gear ‘The vehicle can only be switched from neutral gear to reverse gear at stoppage stato. Operation stops: - Firstly switch the transmission to neutral position + Press the function button (found button F at left side of handle) and push the handle @ backward. It indicates that ‘gear shitting succeeds ifthe target gear amp on display screen stops fiashing. Push the handle @ once to gear 1; if other gears are requited to reverse, the gear shiting method is te same as that of manual gear shifting. Rolease the brake padal ®), brako the vehicle and slightly stop on the aocelorator pada Creeper gear mode (C) 4 The system is equipped with a creeper gear mode to mest the low-speed running requirements of the vehicle under certain special conditions, + Pross the handle key ‘In the creeper gear mode (C), the starting gear position is set as gear 1. It can be switched between gear 1~4 through the handle ‘ The vehicle can only be switched betwoen 1-4 gear positon in ether the manual mode or the automatic mode during the vehicle running. That is, the highest gear poston in creeper gear mode is limited to gear 4, If the gear is higher than 4 gear during diving, the control system will not allow o enter the creeper mode, to stat the creeper gear mode and then pross Key to cancel the creeper gear mode, 2.5 DIFFERENTIAL LOCK OPERATION \When driving into bad road of abby pavement, to prevent single tie of rear axle from sipping, diferential lock can be used for a short time, When engaging ferential lock, vehicle shal be stopped or go straight slowly. 1. Differential lock can only be engaged when vehicle is stopped or drives in a straight line at low speed 2. The driver can release the accelerator pedal and the vehicle will drive at the set cruise speed. During cruising, the driver can change the cruise target vehicle speed value through Set + /-. When any condition Is not met or the driver presses OFF button is pressed, cruise mode will exit automaticaly. When the conditions are met again, ‘he driver can re-enter the cruise by pressing the MEM button, and the cruise target speed isthe last cruise target speed, pes& siTRAK 2.9 EXHAUST BRAKE OPERATION {Exhaust brake can make the vehicle continuously slow down or stablize the speed.
