BENCKISER)

Company profile:

Reckitt Benckiser (former Mead Johnson Nutrition) is a Manufacturer and marketer of health, post-
natal and home products; It´s range of hygiene products includes branches such as SICO & Durex
condoms. For the Home and Hygiene products, it can be named brands like Vanish & Harpic. It
belongs to the consumer industry and in 2018, the company finished with a total revenue of GBP’s
$12,597 Million and 42,400 employees worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Division Financial Controller, managing a team of 13 direct reports (including 4
indirect reports. I lead all the accounting matters within the control of 6 different legal entities
(including 2 manufacturing plants); supervision and control of the Treasury department, Fixed
Assets (CAPEX Control), Accounts Payable, Payroll (over 1,000 employees), attending the internal
and external audits (KPMG). It also includes the quarterly and annual reporting under IFRS and the
developing of the Statutory Financial statements under MXGAAP.

Provides Financial and operating reports to the General Manager and Regional Director of finance
on a regular basis. Actively involved in forecasting process and weekly trending updates.

Preparation and presentation of Budget plan as well Net Working Capital metrics. Meets with
Executive Committee on a monthly basis to evaluate performance.

Effective collaboration with bank entities by negotiating terms and conditions while adhering to
standard policies and procedures to avoid discrepancies.

Main Accomplishments
 SAP implementation for 3 companies (main responsible on the accounting side)
 Successfully accounting treatment for the demerge of two companies from the HYHO Division
(main responsible for the accounting)
 Implementation of Business credit cards for one of the manufacturer plant (INVEX)

STATUTORY MANAGER, EATON (VEHICLE DIVISION)

Company profile:

EATON is a power management company, it´s segment include Electrical Products, Electrical
Systems and Services, Hydraulics, Aerospace and Vehicle. The Vehicle segment engages in the
design, manufacture, marketing and supply of drivetrain, powertrain systems and critical
components for cars, light trucks and commercial vehicles. In 2018 EATON had a total revenue of
USD $21.6 Billion and ended with 100,000 employees worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Plant controller, managing a team of 6 direct reports; in this capacity, I supervised
and managed all the accounting matters of the manufacturer plant (based in Queretaro). In charge
of the Accounts Receivable, Accounts payable, Payroll (380 employees), Tax compliance, Internal
(SOX Compliance) & External Audits (E&Y) matters. All corporate reporting and booking under
USGAAP.

Established and enforced procedures, implemented inventory control system, and reorganized
warehouse, which reduced valuation write-offs by $400K USD the first year, with continued
reductions year over year.

Cleared backlog of unbilled time on large projects. Provided clients with all supporting
documentation necessary for approval and payments of billable time; followed up on large cash
collections (approximately $500K USD) – Main clients, BMW, Chrysler, FORD and General Motors.

Upgraded the procedures for payroll preparation for electronic accounting compliance (TRESS
System), thus improving efficiencies while providing savings to the company.

Main Accomplishments
 VAT Reimbursements of MXN $40 Million in average per year
 Implementation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation for over 300 accounts
 Obtain the SOX Internal Audit certification (Trained on Cleveland Ohio, US)

ACCOUNTING AND TAX MANAGER, LEASEPLAN

Company profile:

LeasePlan is one of Europe’s largest car leasing companies with a fleet of 1.8 Million of vehicles
leased around the globe. It’s main customers in Mexico are large companies such as Saint Gobain,
EATON, Mondelez (among others).

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, managing a team of 5 direct reports (IFRS & MXGAAP). I
leaded all accounting & tax matters of the company. Primarily responsible for month end process
and reporting, along with preparation, presentation and accuracy of financial statements. Actively
involved in forecasting process and weekly trending updates.

Led the chart of accounts mapping and financials integration efforts by including restructuring
entire GL, CONCUR and the implementation of ERP’s Company.

In addition, I helped company in reducing tax liability through effective tax planning and
strategizing local tax electronic accounting implementation.

I collaborated effectively with bank entities (HSBC and CITI Banamex) by negotiating terms and
conditions while adhering to standard policies and procedures to avoid discrepancies.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, on my last position that I held at GM, I oversaw all the
accounting matters on central office (USGAAP / MXGAAP) such as month end closes and yearly
closes procedures. In addition, I worked on the analysis of Segmented Cash Flows and assessments
of new projects to be implemented on the company (from the accounting perspective). Among the
years that I stayed at GM I also held other positions such as Accounting supervisor (including 5
direct reports), also I was the main responsible in Mexico for the SAP implementation and had
international short assignment at South Korea.
