2. Welcome Message

You are welcome to the course of the Musculoskeletal System, which is the first
course in semester 2, year 3. This is an 8-credit course and involves disciplines that
incorporate basic medical sciences and clinical sciences of Musculoskeletal System.
During the course, the students will learn about the different muscles and muscle
groups, the different parts of the skeleton. By the end of this course, you will be able
to describe and identify the different parts and structure of the Musculoskeletal
System and obtain a medical history and perform clinical examination of this system.
Moreover, you will be able to assess and interpret the radiographs of this system.

Significant advances and breakthrough in the management of the Musculoskeletal

System had happened in recent years, which need solid basic knowledge to follow.

As with any other professionals, medical graduates need to respond to evolving

societal, workplace, legislative and technological developments.
