Implementation of Two-Factor Authentication

on Online Facilities/iEnabler

Dear Applicant,

Due to the ever increasing threats facing our online operating environments and platforms, it has become
necessary to improve our cybersecurity posture, especially the public facing Online Facilities/iEnabler
systems.

In this regard, the ICT Department will be introducing an institution-wide security enhancement feature, i.e.
Two-Factor Authentication (also known as Two-Step Verification or Dual-Factor Authentication) across the
iEnabler/Online Facilities interfaces. Two factor authentication is a robust process that adds an additional
layer of verification to heighten the security of user accounts.

The implementation was done on Friday, 18 August 2023.

To facilitate a seamless transition, the links below, provide detailed instructions and video tutorials on how
to setup and login using a two-factor authentication system.
