Turkey Flag Significance

Good morning judges, teachers and young readers!

I am Vaishnavi, student of grade -2 from Unicent School, Bowrampet.

Today I am going to speak about Turkey’s National Flag.

The Turkish flag’s design is said to represent the moon and a star reflected in a pool of blood during the Battle
of Kosovo. The flag’s design consists of a red background with a white crescent and star in the center. The
crescent represents development, and the five-pointed star symbol represents guidance. Together, they
symbolize the Turkish people's aspiration to strive for progress and enlightenment.

Thank you.
