In year 2022 the revenue of the power grid company was ₹39,933 cr after that it increase to ₹43,343
cr. So, almost it has increased ₹ 3,410 cr per YoY basis. As you can see in graph

During the fiscal year 2022-23, our revenue from operations grew by 10% to `45,581 crores
(compared to `41,622 crores in FY 2021-22). Out of this total growth, the maximum growth has been
accounted on the part of the strategy to go further and explore various opportunities under Tariff
Based Competitive Bidding towards the development of Inter and Intra state Transmission System.
This showcases the strategic commitment to investing in infrastructure development, integrating
renewable energy into the grids, and driving technological innovation throughout our operations.
Not only in our transmission business line, we have shown significant growth in the telecom business
as well.

Sales growth
For sales growth is ₹ 43.3k cr in 2023 whereas previous year it was ₹ 39.9k cr, so there is increase of
₹ 3900k cr.

Within 1 year the sales growth was increased by 8.54%

The total market cap has also increased as

shown in graph. In financial year 2022-23 it was
157,436 cr whereas in 2021-22 it was 151,228 cr
Profits of the company

The profit of the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Power grid) for the
financial year 2022-23 was Rs 154.17 billion, which was a decline of 8.36 per
cent over the previous year's profit of Rs 168.24 billion. The profit for the
fourth quarter of 2022-23 was Rs 4,320.43 crore, which was a 4 per cent
increase over the same quarter of the previous year. The profit for the first
quarter of 2023-24 was Rs 3,801.19 crore, which was a 36.2 per cent decrease
over the same quarter of the previous year.
