Samsung SDS released its financial results for the full year of 2022 on January 26. The company
reported revenue of KRW 17.2347 trillion and operating profit of KRW 916.1 billion. The
corporation experienced the highest annual revenue growth of 26%.
Revenue totaled KRW 4.25 trillion and operating profit totaled KRW 187.5 billion in the fourth
quarter of 2022, according to the financial results.
Thanks to the expansion of cloud businesses in the manufacturing, financial, and public sectors
as well as advising projects on the conversion of next-generation enterprise resource planning
(ERP), the yearly revenue of IT Services climbed by 5.9% from the previous year to KRW
5.9682 trillion.
Due to an increase in air cargo volume and service development in the United States and Europe,
the logistics services reported KRW 11.2666 trillion in revenue, a 41% annual growth.
The annual dividend for Samsung SDS was increased by 33% YoY on the same day, from KRW
2,400 to KRW 3,200 per share. Also, the business disclosed a dividend policy, establishing the
three-year dividend payout ratio from 2022 to 2024 at 30%. (Anon., 2023)
For the three months ending December 31, 2022, the company reported consolidated sales of
KRW 70.46 trillion and operating profit of KRW 4.31 trillion. It recorded a record-breaking
302.23 trillion in yearly sales for the entire year, along with an operating profit of KRW 43.38
trillion.
