Will IT eliminate jobs?

- Yes it will eliminate jobs especially ones where people could get paid for doing virtually nothing
such as being a bank atm security guard. AI can analyze and use camera footage to identify a
potential thief or immediately contact authorities if they determine that someone is trying to
steal from it. At the same time it does also add jobs such as the drone pilots for mining sites, but
the question is if it will eliminate jobs which is yes. AI can’t fully replace humans yet since there
are emotions involved in communicating with customers/employees/others that AI can’t
replicate; emotions such as empathy or sympathy, tone, on the spot decisions that may require a
worker to break procedures, and situational requests from customers.
