Patient Care.
To Our Psychotherapy Community,
All of us at Evolution of Psychotherapy and the Milton H.
Erickson Foundation hope this message finds you and your
loved ones in good health.
I’m thrilled that the Evolution of Psychotherapy conference
is making its grand return to Anaheim for the first time in six
years, bringing together all the living legends of the field to
discuss and learn from each other’s expertise. Since its humble
beginnings in 1985, the conference has become the most im-
portant gathering for the psychotherapy community.
This is an event that you won’t want to miss—it truly is a once-in-
a-lifetime opportunity, where you’ll have the unique chance to
connect and learn from some of the most influential therapists
in the field, who have helped shape modern psychotherapy.
We’ve invited these experts—renowned authors, distinguished
professors, and esteemed clinicians—to join us and share their
insights, experiences, and foundational teachings.
Lively discussions, workshops, lectures, and more are in store
for attendees at what will be a truly unforgettable conference
experience. Whether you have attended the conference before
or it is your first time, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
I look forward to seeing you there!

PRECONFERENCES
Ethics
DENISE A. BEAGLEY, MSC
This workshop is designed to provide an overview of national
ethical standards. In today’s world, healthcare professionals,
psychologists, psychiatrists, and counselors are facing ethical
dilemmas in a high-tech and social media world. Additionally,
this seminar will review self-disclosures in the age of the internet,
privacy, security, clinical supervision, and ethical reasoning. An
overview of the moral concepts of goodness, right, and obliga-
tion, and the ways in which they operate in society, religion, and
law. These concepts are further enhanced during workshop dis-
cussions and group work.

Masters of Psychotherapy
JEFFREY K. ZEIG, PHD
In this session we will review video clips of master therapists
conducting therapy, including Milton Erickson, Virginia Satir,
James Masterson, and Salvador Minuchin. We will compare and
contrast methods and extract principles that can advance the
practice of psychotherapy.
