2. Course in the Programme:


CC-1 Introduction to Indian Constitution (60 hours 4 credits)

3. Eligibility Criteria for Admission: 10th Passed or equivalent.

4. Duration of the Programme: The duration of this programme shall be six months.

5. Fee: Fees for this programme shall be Rs.2,000.

6. Teacher’s Qualification:
(1) If teacher is appointed on full time basis for 11 month the qualification should be:
(a) M. A. in Dr. Ambedkar Thought with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade
(relaxation will be given as per government rules and university rules) and
(b) NET/Ph. D.
(2) If teachers are invited on contributory basis:
(a) M. A. in respective discipline with minimum 55% marks

a) Formation and working of constituent Assembly
b) Formation and working of Drafting committee
c) Commencement of Indian Constitution
d) Dr. Ambedkar’s ideas of reservation in constitution

Unit-2 Important Feature of the Constitution:


a) Preamble
b) Fundamental Rights
c) Directive Principles of state policy
d) Fundamental Duties
e) Centre State Relation

Unit-3 Indian Parliamentary Democracy:


a) Loksabha, Rajsabha Central Exclutive President, Prime minister, and Central
Ministry
b) Vidhan Sabha, Vidhan Parishad and State Excutive (Governer, Chief Minister,
Minister of State )

Unit-4 Special Provisions In Indian Constitution:


a) Finance Commission Contingency Fund, Consolidated Fund
b) Public Service Commissions, Election Commission.
c) Safeguards for S.C. S.T. and Backward Classes
d) Provisions for Emergency and Constitutional Amendments
e) Indian Judiciary Supreme court and High court
