Show images of different artworks (paintings, sculptures, drawings, etc.) and discuss what they see in each one.
Encourage them to express their thoughts and feelings about the artworks.

ACTIVITIES:

Show more images of artworks, including both famous and simple ones.
Ask students to describe what they see in each artwork. What colors do they notice? What shapes or objects can
they identify?
Discuss with students how art can be a way for people to express themselves and tell stories.

2.
Read a storybook about art or an artist (e.g., "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds) to the class or watch a video.
After reading, ask students what they learned about art from the story and how they feel about art.
