Due io the sensitivity of these appliances, particularly older appliances, itis possible tnat they may develop a fauit Fallowing oa movement. Where this occurs the contractor (EQUANS) will not be held \able for repair or renewal {in the event that the movement of the appiance resuits in dents/scratches or marks the conl will not renew the appliance where itis in working order and fit for ourpase. This does not absolve EQUANS of responsibilty where we have not shown due care and attention Fixtures such as binds, curtains/curtain rails, bathroom fittings and shelving etc. are the responsibility of the resident to remove prior to work commencing ~ however if the resident is unable to remove these items, due to disability etc., tne contractor will remove the items in the presence of the resident, and the resident will then be responsible for the safe storage of the items. The resident should confirm where these items are to be placed following removal. the resident isn't available, = [L-= we can't be held responsible for loss of fixtures and fittings. Please note that we have to remove these items to carry out the works. However, we are not responsible for refitting these items. following completion of the works. If window biinds are fitted in the window reveal itis possible they may not fit with new plastering, making the reveal slightly smaller. In certain circumstances and with prior agreement EQUANS may move large furniture however wardrobes or drawers must be emptied to allow them to be moved easily. In the event that furniture isnot to a good standard and they are affected dve to movement tre contractor will not be lable for I~ any damage. Where furniture is old or not in a good standard the contractor recommends that it is moved by the tenant prior to works start We endeavour to keep any damage to decorations to a minimum however there will be times when the decorations in your home may be damaged as a result of the works.
