Write your experience or insights on how the youth today shows confidence and interest in

using their mother tongue. Do the youth still value the language they were brought up with?

As a Filipino youth, I used my 2nd language skills which is Tagalog because we are lived here in
the Philippines Manila. Incomes of communication in Academic Language we are preferred to
use the 1st language which is English. But we need to embrace our Tagalog language because
according to Dr. Jose Rizal “ Kung sino hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika mas malansa
pa sa malansang isda” Also he said that because all of the Filipinos people are colonized by
Spaniards to teach them Spanish but Doña
Victorina was reflecting on today's societies because some youth are addicted to the Korean
Language because of Kdrama that has not embraced the Tagalog language. We need to learn
and love our Pambansang Wika or National Language because we are native Filipino to leave
the Philippines the father was Manuel Luis Quezon.
