Pozorne si prečítaj text a potom rozhodni, či vety v tabuľke na prvej strane písomnej skúšky sú
pravdivé (T- true) alebo nepravdivé (F-false).
Svoje rozhodnutie napíš do stĺpika Tvoja odpoveď písmenom T alebo F. Ak sa pomýliš alebo zmeníš
názor, písmeno prečiarkni a napíš druhé.

Five Steps to fight Stress

Everybody gets stressed from time to time but it’s not always easy to fight it. Reading these five easy
tips will give you useful ideas how it can be done.
1. Get support. When you need help, reach out to the people who care about you. Talk to an adult you
trust most, for example a parent or a school counsellor. And don't forget about your friends. They
might be worried about the same problem or have had similar problems.
2. Don't panic! It's easy to let your feelings go wild when you're upset. Identify your feelings and think
about why you feel that way. Then, find a way to calm down a way to express them. Do breathing
exercises, listen to music, write in a diary, play with a pet, go for a walk or a bike ride.
3. Don't blame yourself. Sometimes when kids are stressed and upset they think everything is their
fault and they refuse help. Be kind to yourself and ask for help if the problem you are facing is too
difficult for you.
4. Try to solve the problem. After you have calmed down and you have support from adults and
friends, it's time to get down to business. You need to find out what the problem is. Even if you can't
solve all of it, maybe you can begin by solving a piece of it.
5. Be positive - most stress lasts only certain time. It may not seem like it when you're in the middle of
a stressful situation, but stress does go away, often when you figure out the problem and start working
on solving it.
