Synthesis of Corrosion resistant surface coating using Crustacean waste

The project is an effort to produce an effective corrosion resistant surface coating and to

provide a way to reduce pollution caused by the sea food industries. The inherent properties

of the crustacean shells are being used to develop the surface coating to overcome the
problem of corrosion which has been a major field of research for many years. As more and
more metals are being used for industrial and commercial product, prevention of corrosion
has become a key consideration.
