“You make beautiful music,” says Lurk
Jupe has a toy piano. as he sings along.
She plinks and plunks. “Thank you,” says Jupe.
She makes up her own songs. “You do, too.”

One day, Jupe and Lurk see a piano “L et’s see if you can try it out,”
in a store window. says Lurk.
“I wish I had a real piano,” says Jupe. Jupe and Lurk go into the store.

Jupe picks out a grand piano.
There are pianos everywhere. She slides onto the bench.
But the store is quiet. She plinks and plunks.
There is no music. Lurk begins to sing along.

Jupe and Lurk move to a tall piano.
Monster shoppers come over to the Jupe slides onto the bench.

“I’ll buy it!” says one monster. Lurk sings along.

This time, the storeowner talks to Jupe.
“Your music is helping me sell pianos,”
he says.
“That’s the piano for me!” says “If you keep playing, you can earn
another monster. your own piano.”

Every day, Jupe plays a piano, and
Lurk sings along. Soon, Jupe earns her very own piano!

“What will you do with your toy piano?”
asks Lurk.
“Hmm . . . ,” says Jupe. Now, Jupe and Lurk plink and plunk
“I’d like to give it to you.” and sing . . . together!
