INTRODUCCIÓN

Se realiza este trabajo con el fin de retroalimentar cada día mas nuestro vocabulario y
nuestras expresiones en inglés, para ir mejorando día tras día y llegar

OBJETIVOS
Investigate and chronicle the life of an important character for each one as a person.

Identify the most important thing in the life of this character and capture it in a

CHRONICLE GABRIEL GARCIA MARQUEZ


Gabriel José de la Concordia Garcia Marquez was born on March 6, 1927 in the
town of Aracataca in the municipality of the department of Magdalena, near the
Colombian Atlantic coast. Her parents, Gabriel Eligio García and Luisa Santiaga
Márquez, When her parents fell in love, Luisa's father, Colonel Nicolás Ricardo
Márquez Mejía, opposed that relationship, since Gabriel Eligio, a telegraph operator,
was not the man he considered most suitable for his daughter, because she is the
son of a single mother, belongs to the Colombian Conservative Party. Gabriel He
completed his secondary studies in San José starting in 1940 and finished his
baccalaureate at the Colegio Liceo de Zipaquirá, on December 12, 1946. He
enrolled in the Faculty of Law of the National University of Bogotá on February 25,
1947, although without showing excessive interest in studies. García Márquez
married in Barranquilla in 1958 with Mercedes Barcha, the daughter of an
apothecary. In 1959 they had their first son, Rodrigo, who became a filmmaker; and
three years later, their second son, Gonzalo, currently a graphic designer in Mexico
City, was born. Gabriel García Márquez was a Colombian writer and journalist,
recognized mainly for his novels and short stories, among his most recognized works
this one (the litter, one hundred years of solitude, chronicle of a death announced,

cholera); He has received numerous awards, distinctions and tributes for his works;
the greatest of them all, the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982 "for his novels and

of the Swedish Academy. On Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the age of 87, Gabriel
García Márquez, one of the most admired and recognized authors of Latin American
literature, died in Mexico City.
CONCLUSIONES

With this work we were able to learn more about one of the best Colombian writers
and his works, which have been an emblem at a national and global level
