1. Should ICW expand to Philadelphia?

I believe ICW should grow. Although it is dangerous and there is some apprehension, the
likelihood of success is great. Their primary goal is to assist unlucky gang members. Focusing just
on Boston would be a disservice to their entire program, which is worthy of taking the risk and
expanding. They may always lock the door in Philadelphia and concentrate solely on Boston.
However, they must work hard to model their curriculum and business strategy to meet
Philadelphia standards and attain their objective of self-sufficiency. Entrepreneurs must be
willing to take risks. Whether they succeed or fail, they will learn a lesson.
2. Besides financial, what obstacles would such expansion face?
Philadelphia has a different perspective; they must locate interested volunteers, clients, and
gang members. The biggest impediment is the disparity in dynamics between Philadelphia and
Boston. They can't use the same strategy in Philadelphia since it doesn't match their thinking or
norms. Changes are required.
Major hazards and difficulties include financial sustainability, safety, and security. They are
concerned about effectiveness dilution, thus communication between Boston and Philadelphia
is essential for a successful expansion. Students must feel safe, and when opposing groups exist,
it is difficult to maintain the middle ground and give equal opportunity to all sides.
3. Can ICW replicate Boston success in Philadelphia? What are the key factors that need
replication?

A Philadelphia leader must understand the program from the ground up. In conclusion, crucial
criteria such as finding the proper investors, foundations to assist them, interacting with
students and clients, and building trust are critical for laying the groundwork for ICW
Philadelphia.
4. While Josh has worked for ICW since the beginning, is he the right person to lead expansion?
He is unquestionably the proper person. He is enthusiastic about the organization's objective
and believes in transforming the neighborhood and assisting young people. He has also had
prior knowledge of the ICW.
Even though he is an adult and a well-formed person, he is eager to work on himself with pupils
and improve his conduct. He wasn't able to manage his emotions previously, but by following
Jon's example, he was able to learn how to regulate himself since it may badly effect ICW
students. He is willing to work hard, learn, and adapt in order to benefit future pupils and
prevent recidivism.
