Reflection Paper

In today's diverse world, it is important to explore and understand the different

types of individuals that make up our society. This includes people from diverse ethnic

and racial backgrounds, individuals who face social challenges, people with different

religious beliefs, as well as individuals with physical or mental disabilities. In addition,

political parties also play an important role in shaping each individual's views and

experiences. By reflecting on these different identities, I can better understand the

challenges and conflicts I have between these different people in providing my

professional services by evaluating myself in the given cultural self-assessment guide.

As I evaluate myself according to the cultural self-assessment guide given. I find

myself conflicted to the people who have different political and religious beliefs, which

may have significant impact on how I provide professional help and potentially hinder my

ability to provide the best possible care to the clients. How these conflicts are managed

can greatly influence the quality and effectiveness of the help I provide .That when I am

faced with situations that go against my personal beliefs or values, it is difficult to put

those biases aside and give fair and unbiased attention to all individuals. But I realized

that as a professional in a field that requires providing help and assistance to others, to

resolve this conflict and ensure that I provide the best care possible, it is important that I
must separate my personal beliefs from my professional responsibilities and it is

important to approach each situation with empathy, respect, and an open mind, ensuring

that personal biases and beliefs do not interfere with the objective and unbiased

assistance that is expected in such professional roles. By recognizing and addressing any

potential conflicts that may arise, I can work towards providing the best possible help and

support to those in need, regardless of their backgrounds or differing perspectives.
