Religiousness is a prime Filipino value. Faith in God is an innate trait as a Filipino. God serves as our
refuge when we experience problems. We draw our strengths from our faith to God.

Kung tutuusin, ang pagiging maka-diyos ay tinuturo na sa atin nung bata pa tayo. Tinuturuan tayo ng
parents natin na magpray bago kumain at bago matulog. We carry this habit with us as we grow and
mature.

Different ways to develop the value of being Makadiyos:

Going to church and praying

- talking to God with sincerity. It's either about problems in life that you need help and strength from
God.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagsisimba at pag dadasal, mas napapalapit pa tayo sa diyos at mas tumitibay pa
ang paniniwala natin na hindi tayo pababayaan ng diyos.

By promoting ourselves to do good deeds

- doing right things and knowing what is wrong and what is right

mas piliin nating gumawa ng mas makabubuti sa lahat at hindi lang sa pansarili. This will boost our
spiritual and morality.

Spread love and kindness

- Kindness starts with us and is always free. Learn to love others regardless of age, race, nationality,
gender, or social status

Dapat hindi lang tayo mabait sa mga kapwa natin, matuto rin tayong maging mabuti sa mga likha ng
diyos tulad ng mga hayop at mga halaman. Matuto tayong magpahalaga sa mga bagay na likha ng diyos.

Being Makadiyos doesn't just mean being kind to other people, we also need to be kind to animals,
plants, and our environment.

Respect

- treat others with respect.

value the morality of each other towards their actions, words and thoughts.
