Rohtas fort:Rohtas Fort or Rotas Ghur is a 16th-century fortress located near the
city of Dina in Jhelum district of the Punjab province of Pakistan. An Afghan
warlord turned Padishah, Sher Shah Suri built the fort, which is one of the largest
and most formidable in Punjab
Taxila:Taxila or Takshashila is a city in Punjab, Pakistan. Located in the Taxila
Tehsil of Rawalpindi District, it lies approximately 25 kilometres northwest of the
Islamabad–Rawalpindi metropolitan area and is just south of the Haripur District of
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Mohenjo daro:Mohenjo-daro is an archaeological site in the province of Sindh,
Pakistan. Built around 2500 BCE, it was the largest settlement of the ancient Indus
Valley Civilisation, and one of the world's earliest major cities, contemporaneous
with the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Minoan Crete, and Norte
Chico.
Mohenjo:The Lahore Fort is a citadel in the city of Lahore, Pakistan. The fortress
is located at the northern end of walled city Lahore, and spreads over an area
greater than 20 hectares. It contains 21 notable monuments, some of which date to
the era of Emperor Akbar
Macli necropolis:Makli Necropolis is one of the largest funerary sites in the
world, spread over an area of 10 kilometres near the city of Thatta, in the
Pakistani province of Sindh. The site houses approximately 500,000 to 1 million
tombs built over the course of a 400-year period.
Takht-i-bahi buddhist monastery:Takht-i-Bahi, is an Indo-Parthian archaeological
site of an ancient Buddhist monastery in Mardan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The
site is considered among the most important relics of Buddhism in all of what was
once Gandhara, and has been "exceptionally well-preserved."
Shalamar garden:The Shalimar Gardens are a Mughal garden complex located in Lahore,
Pakistan. The gardens date from the period when the Mughal Empire was at its
artistic and aesthetic zenith, and are now one of Pakistan's most popular tourist
destinations
thatta:Thatta is a city in the Pakistani province of Sindh. Thatta was the medieval
capital of Sindh, and served as the seat of power for three successive dynasties.
Thatta's historic significance has yielded several monuments in and around the city
