Human relations simply means interaction among people. It is the study of how individuals

interact with one another in social situations, particularly at work, and how to enhance social

skills communication and sensitivity. Keith Davis states that human relations deals with

motivating people in organizations to develop teamwork that effectively satisfies their goals and

achieves organizational goals.

Human relations can be defined as the cordial environment in an organization where people

practice the art of living in such a way that they communicate, act, interact, and transact in a

cordial manner, recognizing each other's needs, views, values, and temperaments so that every

interaction and transaction taking place in an organization would have concern for each other's

interests and feelings, and morale of people at all levels in the organization.

I believe that the essence of human relations is our innate need for connection and understanding.

We are social beings at our core, and we thrive on meaningful interactions with others. Our

ability to interact and establish connections enables us to share our thoughts, emotions, and

experiences, creating a sense of belonging and improving our understanding of ourselves and our

surroundings. Human relation is crucial to our professional success. We will perform better in

our careers if we get along with people, especially those in our workplace in the future. This will

result in the success of the entire organization. We will be more successful in both our personal

and professional lives if we are better at interacting with people.
