- Blizzard (n): A severe snow storm with strong winds


- Flood (n): A large amount of water covering an
area that is usually dry
- Drought (n): A long period when there is little or no
rain
- Hurricane (n): A violent wind that has a circular
movement, especially in the West Atlantic Ocean
- Heat wave: A period of days during which the
weather is much hotter than usual
