● One of ten selected to participate in the 2023-2024 WISDOM Scholar program, a multidimensional student centered leadership

● Privately invited from the Sisters’ Chapel Dean of Spelman College and funded by the Lilly Endowment Incorporation.
● Engages on strengthening the capacity of Sisters Chapel to bring the power and presence of its spiritual and civil rights legacy
together with contemporary and culturally relevant expressions of faith and social justice.
● Participates in interfaith living in Bessie Strong; a home dedicated to only WISDOM Scholars.
● Participates in bi-weekly meetings with the Sisters’ Chapel Dean of Spelman College and WISDOM Director that intersect our

Reading Guide August 2021 – May 2023
● Guided students sessions to help improve their literacy achievement in Atlanta Public Schools utilizing a digital literacy tool,
BookNook, which pairs literary lessons and tracks student progress.
● Helped establish responsibility, accountability, and intentionality by devoting three hours weekly to read to students.
● Increased my previous Reading Mentee’s reading and comprehension level by 23% in the course of three months, going from a
third grade reading level to a fifth grade reading level as a fourth grader.
