Current AT Findings
Upon analyzing the Criteria Referenced Self-Assessment, it becomes evident that the department's
performance is commendable in most areas. However, certain weaknesses have been identified in
Criterion 1, focusing on Program Mission Objectives and Outcomes, and in Criterion 7, relating to
Institutional Facilities. The overall assessment score of 86.7 out of 100, as reported by the AT, indicates
that the program's performance is generally good.
The AT report has highlighted specific areas in need of improvement, namely Criterion 1, which pertains
to the program's mission, objectives, and outcomes. It is essential to refine and align these elements to
ensure the program's effectiveness and relevance. Additionally, Criterion 7 emphasizes the importance of
providing adequate library facilities to students and faculty members. Enhancing institutional support in
this aspect will contribute significantly to the overall academic environment and resources available to the
stakeholders.
As part of the self-assessment process, the areas requiring corrective actions have been thoroughly
identified and documented. This crucial information has been promptly reported to the Dean of the
Faculty of Management Sciences for further consideration and action. It is imperative to address these
areas of improvement promptly and effectively to elevate the overall performance of the department. By
focusing on refining the faculty development policy, faculty offices, and enhancing library facilities, the
department can build a more robust academic foundation and create a conducive learning environment for
both faculty and students.
The commitment to continuous improvement and the willingness to take corrective actions will play a
pivotal role in ensuring the department's sustained growth and success. Regular monitoring, feedback
collection, and strategic planning will be instrumental in achieving the desired outcomes and maintaining
the department's high standards of excellence.
