VIII. CONCLUSION

Data mining is a concept widely used in healthcare field. Data

mining techniques are popularly used in all the applications of
healthcare that include healthcare management, detection of
fraud and abuse, customer relationship management and
treatment effectiveness. In this survey, an outlines of data
mining definitions are discussed along with the challenges in
the field of healthcare. It is also noteworthy to elaborate on
data mining techniques and its application in healthcare.
The various works done by different researchers is
revisited. The prediction of diseases using Data Mining
applications is a challenging task but it drastically reduces the
human effort and increases the diagnostic accuracy.
