Subject: Discontinuation of Life Preserver Models

This service information letter is to provide guidance on the discontinuation of life preservers
approved under TSO-C13d, TSO-C13e and TSO-C72b. The following life preserver models will be
discontinued KSD-35L8, KSD-35-X, KSE-35L8, GA-12, and IN-V20L8. This will be effective as of
March 1, 2016.

The part numbers affected per model are as follows:

KSD-35L8 – P0723-XXX
KSD-35-X – P0723-X-XXX
KSE-35L8 – P0723E105P
GA-12 – P0201-105
IN-V20L8 – P0640-103

KSD and KSE model will be replaced by EAM’s XF-35 model

GA-12 shall be replaced by EAM’s UXF-35 model
IN-V20L8 (P0640-103) shall be replaced by P0640-101

By the end of Calendar year 2015; EAM’s website and CMM’s will be updated to reflect this change.

EAM will work with our customers to make this transition as smooth as possible.
